When it comes to lung cancer, there is a belief that it can only affect certain people. The reality is, though lung cancer is a disease which can affect anyone, and this dangerous misconception is resulting in late diagnosis and costing people their lives.

Pregnancy should be one of the most exciting times of a person’s life, as you eagerly wait to meet a beautiful baby boy or girl. For Harriet, with the exception of some pretty bad morning sickness, her second pregnancy was all going fine until, at 31-weeks, she received the heart-breaking news that she had incurable lung cancer.
Thankfully, her baby was born safely at 34 weeks, but now lives with the fear that she’ll never have the chance to explain to her sons that she didn’t want to leave them.
